The Danish Export Association was founded in 1965, initially as a regional initiative by far-sighted Danish companies, including Grundfos, Danfoss and Pressalit.
Rapid growth followed and by the early 1970s it became a national association - a step that was an immediate success and that triggered another period of growth.
The association is now the largest of its kind in Denmark, representing over a third of Danish industrial exporters.
We ascribe a very large part of our success to our concept of creating win-win situations for members through the sector networks we have created, and encouraging collaboration.
