The meeting will commence with a discussion on future fuels from a shipowner's perspective, featuring insights from Uni-Tankers on their fuel optimization strategies and their vision for the future fuel landscape. Uni-Tankers recently announced a significant fleet expansion comprising four newbuilding orders.

Following this, Per Svenning, Strategic Senior Sales Manager from DEIF, will give an introduction to DEIF Energy Management Systems for Hybrid vessels.

Afternoon activities will include a guided tour of DEIF's top modern electronics factory, emphasizing sustainability and employee well-being, with the latest technology and automation on display, including robotic systems for internal goods transportation.

The day's final presentation will be delivered by Neha Mehta, a marine engineer and member of the Danish Export – Marine Advisory Board. Neha will share insights on conducting business in India, highlighting opportunities in the Indian maritime industry for Danish suppliers.

    Kristian Larsen, Technical Director, Uni-Tankers

    Kristian Larsen has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, including roles as Senior Officer at sea, Technical Superintendent, Fleet Manager, and most recently as Technical Director at Uni-Tankers. Uni-Tankers operates 16 owned oil/chemical tankers in addition to a large fleet of time-chartered vessels. In his current position, he is also responsible for energy optimization, decarbonization, and transitioning the fleet to more sustainable fuels. Therefore, he will be able to share insights about some of the optimizations and initiatives that have already been implemented and how he envisions the future.

    Per Svenning Jensen has worked in sales at DEIF for more than 30 years in various roles and across different markets. He is Sales Manager for DEIF's largest Danish marine customers and has been involved in sales and design of Energy Management Systems for hybrid ships such as the ferry Grotte, the inspection vessel Nordsøen, the school ship Skulebas, the fishing vessel Aksel Johan, and others.

    Neha Mehta, Marine Engineer and Member of the Danish Export – Marine Advisory Board

    Neha Mehta is a technical and business professional with over 17 years of comprehensive experience from both large and small organizational environments. She is marine engineer by education and has sailed onboard some of the world’s largest vessels including cruise ships & containers for around 8 years before moving to Denmark. Neha has worked for DESMI, where she was involved in the global launch of the business unit called EnviRo-Care to combat plastic pollution in waters. She has also worked for IRON Pump ensuring growth of the organization through sector partnerships, reducing emissions during production, energy optimization and solution sales in-combination with partners. Despite her roles in Denmark, Neha works actively with Indian organizations & governments to build a bridge between India & Denmark and to underline the innovative / environmental technologies of Denmark & their implementation in India.
