HRH Prince Henrik was a strong representative for Danish exports

It is with great sadness that have we learned that His Royal Highness The Prince Consort, Prince Henrik of Denmark, has died. We send our deepest sympathies to Her Royal Highness Margrethe II Queen of Denmark, and to all of the Danish Royal Family, who will be in our hearts and minds during this difficult time.

Since 1982, His Royal Highness Prince Henrik of Denmark has been the chairman of the Jury for the Danish Export Association’s Diploma, which awards the diploma and His Royal Highness Prince Henrik’s Medal of Honour to agents, distributors, subsidiaries or companies in recognition of an outstanding effort in promoting Danish products and services abroad.

Royal support opens doors

His Royal Highness Prince Henrik of Denmark has been a strong and engaged representative for the award, which he has personally presented to winners on several occasions. The support of the Danish Royal Family has opened doors for Danish companies that were otherwise closed to them. Recipients of the award have been very proud to receive it and have become ambassadors for Danish business interests in markets all over the world.

Danish exports have received excellent help from His Royal Highness Prince Henrik of Denmark, whose engagement and support has had an invaluable impact on the promotion of exports and Danish companies’ position globally.

We are deeply grateful for His Royal Highness Prince Henrik of Denmark’s extensive efforts to support Danish exports throughout the years and we will do our utmost to continue with the award in his honour.
